Play solo D&D with an AI game master
Getting a group together is the hardest part of tabletop roleplaying. With Dungeon Party you don't need one: an AI game master plays the world, the villains and the dice, and the story is about your hero alone.
How a solo game works
Press Quick Start and you get a ready-made hero in a ready-made world, with the opening scene a few seconds later. Or write your own character and setting. Then you just say what your hero does. The game master answers, asks for a roll when something's risky, and builds the adventure around your backstory.
Solo games are short and complete. The game master paces the story toward a climax and an ending, so a lunch break is enough for a whole adventure.
Good for new players
If you've never played a tabletop RPG, a solo game is an easy way to learn. There's no rulebook to read and no one waiting on you. When you're not sure what to do, ask, and the game master will give you options.
Bring friends later
Any game can become a party game. Share the party link and friends join from their own browsers, each with their own hero.
Questions
Can I really play D&D alone?
Yes. The AI takes the dungeon master's seat, so one player is enough for a full adventure.
How long is a solo game?
Free games run up to 30 minutes, which is enough for a short adventure with a real ending. Paid plans allow longer games.
What settings can I play?
Fantasy, sci-fi and post-apocalyptic worlds are ready to go, and you can write any world you like.
